What is Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching?

Azure Dev Tools for Teaching is a Microsoft program that supports technical education by providing access to Microsoft software for learning, teaching, and research purposes. It offers professional-level developer and designer tools and software for the purpose of furthering educational and research efforts.

Who Can Access Azure Dev Tools for Teaching?

Azure Dev Tools for Teaching is available to all College of Engineering students and faculty.
Students and faculty may enjoy unlimited usage of software for the purpose of furthering their learning and research efforts. The license to use the software is perpetual; you do not have to uninstall the software upon graduation.
The software is not to be used to run a business or for ventures that drive commercial profit. Please review the full End User License Agreement for more details.

What happened to Microsoft Imagine?

The Microsoft Imagine program was transitioned to become Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching. The old Microsoft Imagine WebStore can still be accessed to obtain product keys for previously ordered products, but you can no longer download any content. This link can be used to log into the old Microsoft Imagine WebStore. The old Microsoft Imagine WebStore will expire on July 1st 2019, so please login before then to retrieve any product keys.
