The planned upgrade of engineering specific software only occurs between semester breaks. Mid-semester upgrades can usually be accommodated, but they are only done at the request of a professor, and much more care is given to prevent issues with in-session classes.
Toward the end of each semester, we begin the process of researching, planning, and testing the software that will be upgraded for the next semester. We will gather all the software titles we plan to upgrade and update the version numbers listed on this page. Three weeks prior to the start of the next semester we will freeze the below list of software title versions and not make any further updates to the list. This list serves as a way to inform users of pending software changes, and allow enough time to adjust class materials, or contact us with any concerns.
