Microsoft Access is database software developed and distributed by Microsoft; it is part of the Microsoft Office Suite. Access provides an easy to use graphical interface along with a powerful database backend. This software allows for the use of many different types of databases including Access/Jet, Microsoft SQL, Oracle, and more. Access is available on all the DECS PC Lab computers/Remote Desktop Servers and can be installed by DECS on any College of Engineering owned computer at no charge. Check with the MSU Computer Store for availability for personally owned or non CoE machines.
