The following instructions are for adding a network printer to systems running Windows or Mac OSX. You will need to be connected to the EGR network in order to add these printers. Additionally, DECS does not support printing over a VPN connection. Non-DECS installed computers may have limited success using the below methods. If you have issues, then please contact the Support Office at your earliest convenience.

Engineering's Network

MSU and the College of Engineering use Ethernet, TCP/IP based networks to provide network service and access to the Internet. The networks of the Engineering Building, the Engineering Research Complex, the MBI Building and the Composite Vehicle Research Center (CVRC) are connected to the campus backbone: a high-speed fiber network that runs at 1 Gigabit, or 1000 Megabits per second.
