To save a background image to your system, right-click any of the thumbnails above and select Save Image As.
Save it to your Downloads folder and follow the instructions to utilize the image in Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
Tips for Creating Your Own Virtual Background

When using images found on the internet, be sure they are of type .PNG, .JPG, or .BMP.

Make sure the image aspect ratio and resolution match those of your webcam's display output. Images that do not match the aspect ratio and resolution of the webcam will often work, but may appear distorted or of low quality.

Make sure the dominant color of the image doesn't match your skin or clothing color.

If you would like to submit a virtual background to share with the Engineering community, please complete and submit the form below. You will receive an email if your image is approved, and it will then be posted on this page for others to download.
Note: Only university-appropriate College of Engineering themed backgrounds should be submitted.
