At this year's Graduate Research Symposium, EMRG's Jie Li was recognized as the ECE Department's Outstanding Graduate Student for the 2016-2017 academic year. Later in an inter-departmental email it was announced that Jennifer Byford had won a secondary Outstanding Graduate Student award (out of three total).
