BDRL makes helmet plugs for MSU football players

The MSU football started using communication devices in their helmets during games this year. One obstacle the team faced was being able to hear while playing in loud environments such as The Horseshoe at Ohio State or Autzen Stadium in Eugene, so they reached out to Dr. Bush’s lab for a solution. The solution they came up with was a 3D printed plug that fits right in the hole and blocks out the crowd noises. The team debuted these at the first game this season on August 30, 2024.
