Josh Drost (graduated)

I am first year Ph.D student who started working in the BDRL in January 2011. The main projects I have worked on are characterizing the reaction in blood perfusion due to changes in forces against the skin in people with and without leg wounds and using modeling the functions and applicable forces of the hand in subjects with and without arthritis.

In Septmeber 2013 I presented "Blood Flow Characterization in Multiple Anatomical Locations during Normal and Shear Loading" at the National Conference for the American Society of Biomechanics.

In April 2014 I presented "Modeling Forces Applied by the Index Finger Over Range of Motion" at MSU's University Undergraduate Research and Arts Forum, for which I won the grand prize.
