Dr. Yansong Pei is a postdoctoral researcher in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Michigan State University. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut, where his research developed reinforcement-learning methods for distribution-system voltage regulation and peak-load management. His current work includes intelligent battery control, reliability and stability of grids with emerging large loads, and AI-based monitoring and fault analysis for BreakerWise.

Matthew Egan is a Ph.D. student in Electrical Engineering at Michigan State University. His research evaluates how renewable generation, energy storage, and flexible loads affect power-system reliability and operation. His work has addressed PV-storage power profiles, unit commitment and reserve scheduling, the reliability effects of interruptible loads, shipboard power systems, and the stability impacts of data-center load models.

Hadis Hosseinpour is a Ph.D. student in Electrical Engineering at Michigan State University. Her work includes stability-region assessment of inverter-based resources, integrated adequacy and stability evaluation of microgrids, stability-constrained inverter control, waveform analytics, and PMU-based oscillation-source localization.

Abdelrahman Abdelkader is a Ph.D. student in Electrical Engineering at Michigan State University. His recent work includes day-ahead demand-response scheduling for voltage-stability support, cloud-based virtual power plants, dynamic-line-rating implementation, and transmission planning for rapid data-center growth.

Alaaeldein Abdelkader is a Ph.D. student in Electrical Engineering at Michigan State University. His research focuses on planning and operational methods that improve reliability, resilience, and transmission flexibility. His recent work examines coordinated energy-storage operation during heatwaves, dynamic-line-rating applications, load-management reliability, and the adequacy and stability effects of spatially correlated AI data-center loads.

Andres Intriago Velasquez is a Ph.D. student in Electrical Engineering at Michigan State University. He earned his M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, where he studied residual-based attack detection and admittance-identification methods for inverter-based microgrids. His current research includes filtering of noisy PMU data and measurement-based identification of electromechanical modes.

Abanish Tiwari is a Ph.D. student in Electrical Engineering at Michigan State University. His recent work includes coordinated placement of dynamic-line-rating technologies and energy storage, storage-as-a-transmission-asset applications for large-load congestion relief, and resonance-safety screening for synchronized AI-training loads.

Khalil Sinjari is a Ph.D. student in Electrical Engineering at Michigan State University. His research focuses on the control and grid integration of electric vehicles and inverter-interfaced resources. His work has examined EV-based reactive-power support, single- and three-phase microgrid operation, integrated microgrid control and protection, and predictive current control for EV interfaces under voltage-saturation conditions.
