Cantor Colburn announced the addition of attorney Susan M. Zerull (BS CHEM EGR ' 88) to its patent practice, which is the fourth largest in the country.
Zerull, who served as in-house counsel at The Dow Chemical Company for more than 20 years, is based in the firm's Troy, Michigan, office.
Along with her work at Dow, she has also worked for Imation and 3M. Her practice concentrates on patent procurement, developing intellectual property strategies, and complex intellectual property transactions.
Her technical areas of expertise include polymers, electronic materials and devices, photovoltaics, solar modules, small molecules, chemical formulations, chemical processes, and pharmaceuticals.
She received a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Michigan State University in 1988 and a J.D. from the Ohio State University College of Law.
