Gas Transmission Through Films
Gas permeation is an important parameter that defines performance in many applications. For instance, food packaging, fuel cells, and gasoline tanks require low permeability materials be used in these applications. The CMSC at MSU has units to determine the gas transmission rate of oxygen, carbon dioxide, or water vapor through polymeric films. Contact Mike Rich to explore your materials permeability to oxygen, carbon dioxide, or water vapor. Tel 517/353-4696 or email drzal@msu.edu.
