This is the schematic of the power supply used for the duration of the project. Supplied with a 9 V barrel adapter, there are three distinct nodes in which there stepped down voltages; there is a 9 V node, a 5 V node and a 3.3 V node. The 5 V node is utilized for the design. The design was used used in the ECE 480 laboratory assignments as well.

This is the schematic of microphone amplifier used for the first couple design prototypes, obtained from the ECE 480 laboratory experiments.

This is the built microphone amplifier circuit with microphone (COM-08635) used from ECE 480 laboratory experiments. The flaw with this intial design concept is that the frequency response of the COM-08635 only ranges to 10 kHz. A series of samples were taken in the lab and once analyzed with Audacity, the highest measurements of the diamond polishing process were 16 kHz.
