Himanshu Sahasrabudhe

Prof. Sahasrabudhe's major research interest lies in Directed Energy Deposition (DED) additive manufacturing, applied to the development of novel material systems for futuristic additive manufacturing applications. Specifically, his research interests are developing temperature-resistant refractory-based structures and smart multimaterial structures via DED additive manufacturing. The applications for such materials and structures are in the areas of aerospace, automobile, and biomedical devices.
