Derek graduated from Michigan State University with his B.S. in Electrical Engineering in December of 2021. In January of 2022 Derek joined HATlab as a student in the PhD program in Electrical Engineering. His current research is focused on microfabrication and microfluidic/nanofluidic systems. As well as having experience in embedded systems development and application.
