Students pursuing a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanics, or Biomechanics have the unique opportunity to research such topics as: medical device evaluation/development, musculoskeletal dysfunction, hand function/dysfunction, seating and posture, and much more.
Opportunities for undergraduates include: summer internships, hourly employment, and independent studies during any of the Fall, Spring, or Summer semesters. Undergraduates will work on their own individual projects that will center around one of the biomechanics topics currently being researched.
As our research combines engineering and biomechanics, medical students can take advantage of working closely with our BDRL personnel.
The BRDL is always open to volunteers to participate in our studies and experiments.
Please contact Dr. Tamara Reid Bush for additional information on any of the above opportunities, or others that may not be listed.
