Prof. Yeom's research team is interested in developing novel materials and manu-facturing technology for nano/ microelectromechanical systems (N/ MEMS) and micro chemical sytems. The key micro-/nanomanufacturing methods employed include soft lithography with strain engineering, UV nanoimprint lithography, colloidal lithography, electrospinning, and metal additive manufacturing. These capabilities lead to various projects such as metal/ ceramic additive manufacturing for process intensification;volatile organic compound detection systems for environmental monitoring; and pollutant-degrading, self-propelled micromotors for water decontamination.
