Progress updates:

For the month of September the team brainstormed ideas ranging from linear variable differential transformers, actuators, electromagnetic brakes.

During the month of October the team focused on designing and implementing ideas gathered in brainstorming sessions.

This design period consisted of applying electromechanical devices to acomplish the team's goals. This month also consisted of prototype development.

One early design the team came up with is as followed:

This design did not account for force registering system, FSRs used in developed model. Also, the final design used less space and was implimented with a smaller enclosure.

In this last month of December the team worked finalizing the joystick design. Many small details were considered at this point while bug fixing was well under way.

The final design the team came up was tested and debugged frequently. This model proved to be better than early prototypes in size and modularity of connectors.
