• Discussed types of transceivers and micro controllers to be used
• Looked into products from Digi and Texas Instruments
• Discussed if our system would require a voltage down converter
• Talks began about writing our proposal
• Group receives email from Erik stating he cannot send hour meter
• Thought began about developing a counter to track work hours
• Leaning towards using ZigBee communications

• Through research we have decided to use products from Crossbow
• September 17-21, 2008
• Discussion with MobileNet lead to a different project scope, involving working between Terex and Mobilenet. However, after further deliberation Terex decided to leave out MobileNet all together and use laptop as telecommunication device
