The effect of drip tape placement depth on water distribution will be demonstrated. The drip tape placement depths are surface, 6-inch depth, and 12-inch depth. Dye will be injected the day before the demonstration through a section of the irrigation system and then the blueberries will be irrigated for a typical length of time. On the day of the demonstration, trenches will be dug to show the differences in water distribution. A brief overview of the soil moisture sensor and the interpretation of the soil moisture sensor data will be discussed.
