Individual Visits

 

In partnership with the College of Engineering's Recruitment & K12 Outreach, Women in Engineering will be hosting visits where you have an opportunity to learn about the importance of women in engineering and the resources available to ensure female student success.

To schedule a WIE visit and tour of the Engineering building, sign up for a tour HERE, where you will be prompted upon gender selection to sign up for the WIE Tour.

 

ADS Breakfasts

Tentative Date: Feb 2017

Who: Alumni Distinguished Scholarship Competition Attendees (Invite Only).

What: Meet with MSU Engineering Faculty, Staff, and students. Learn what women in engineering bring to the table and the MSU Engineering program/resources.

Cost: FREE

 

Spring Design Day

Tentative Day: April 2018

Who: Freshman - Junior High School Seniors

What: Participate in hands-on engineering activities and get exposure to engineering projects current MSU Engineering students are working on.

Cost: FREE

Admitted Senior Day

Tentative Day: April 2018

Who: High School Seniors who have been admitted to MSU and have shown an interest in Engineering (Invite Only).

What: A day of getting to know other admitted seniors, learning about Engineering at MSU, seeing the Engineering Residential program and eating in one of our cafeterias.

Cost: FREE

 

 

Lady Spartans: Women in Engineering High School Summer Camp

Who: 9th-12th grade in Fall 2017

When:
Residential: July 16-20, check-in 3pm Sunday

Check-out Thursday 5pm

Commuter: July 17-20, full day, 8:30am-5pm, Monday-Thursday

What: Engage in group projects and learn about the various disciplines of engineering.  Tour some of MSU's top labs and facilities (such as MSU's Cyclotron) and meet women role models for your future professional career.

Cost: Residential, July 16-20, Cost: $800
         Commuter, July 17-20, Cost: $400

Preview Day

October 14, 2017

Who: High School juniors and seniors

What: Get a preview of what MSU Engineering is about. Participants will have a chance to learn about majors and careers, meet with professors, tour laboratories and see engineering interactive demonstrations, and talk with current MSU WIE students.

Cost: FREE
