Individual Visits

In partnership with the College of Engineering's Recruitment & K12 Outreach, Women in Engineering (WIE) will be hosting visits where you have an opportunity to learn about the importance of women in engineering and the resources available to ensure female student success.

To schedule a WIE visit and tour of the Engineering building, sign up for a tour HERE, where you will be prompted upon gender selection to sign up for the WIE Tour. 


Women in Engineering ADS Breakfasts

Tentative Date: Feb 2020

Who: Alumni Distinguished Scholarship Competition Attendees.

What: Meet with MSU Engineering Faculty, Staff, and students. Learn what women in engineering bring to the table and the MSU Engineering program/resources.

Cost: FREE


Women in Engineering Admitted Senior Day

Tentative Day: April 18, 2020

Who: High School Seniors who have been admitted to MSU and have shown an interest in Engineering.

What: A day of getting to know other women in engineering admitted seniors, learning about Engineering at MSU, seeing the Engineering Residential program and eating in one of our cafeterias.

Cost: FREE



Preview Day

October 2020

Who: High School juniors and seniors

What: Get a preview of what MSU Engineering is about. Participants will have a chance to learn about majors and careers, meet with professors, tour laboratories and see engineering interactive demonstrations, and talk with current MSU Women in Engineering students.

Cost: FREE

Co-ed Computer Programming Competition

Who: High School Freshmen- Seniors

Fall Design Day

Tentative Day: December 2020

Who: High School Freshmen- Seniors

What: Participate in hands-on engineering activities and get exposure to engineering projects current MSU Engineering students are working on.

Cost: FREE
