Society of Women Engineers in the Machine Shop

The WIE Student Success Team is led by Director Judy Cordes and Assistant Director Sandy Christlieb.

WIE Student Success is dedicated to providing an open, collaborative and supportive community for women engineering students.  Our programming and activities foster personal connections, growth and achievement. WIE  offers formal and informal mentoring, peer led success seminars and opportunities for networking and leadership development.

    • WIE Connect Pairs Mentoring
    • WIE Connect Group Mentoring

  • Informal Mentoring and Community Building
    • WIE Rise is a program focused on assisting second year students with navigating their major, connecting with the College and University and developing the building blocks for success.
    • 'Brain Break' Study Breaks to encourage students to quickly meet the WIE team and other students while taking a short, informal break from studies and classes.
    • Special Events designed to welcome, connect and support students throughout the academic year.
