The NRTL-PA Aspen user model is now available for download. This model enhances the capabilities of Aspen to blend the capabilities of NRTL with that of the Wertheim association approach. Shown here is the methanol + cyclohexane system fitted to VLE and LLE. The NRTL-PA models the LLE and VLE simulataneously, whereas the NRTL fitted to LLE cannot simultaneously model the VLE shown with dashed lines.
The model is capable of using the CPA and PC-SAFT forms of association.
