Gas and liquid chromatography
We have a variety of gas and liquid chromatography equipment that enables us to run dedicated columns for different conditions or samples. Also we frequently run both GC and LC on some systems that include nonvolatile components. We are experienced in complex analysis and our mass balances generally close within 5%.
For complicated analysis beyond the capabilities of our own analysis, we use the MSU GC-MS facility.
We have a Mettler autotitrator
We also utilize a shared IR with a temperature-controlled cell in the Department of Chemistry, and the Max T. Rogers NMR facility.
