Bradley P. Marks, P.E., of Michigan State University has been named a Fellow of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) for his leadership and professional distinctions in food safety engineering. The rank of Fellow is ASABE’s highest honor.

A Michigan State University-led research team has received a $769,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture to develop a rapid biosensor test for foodborne pathogens. The project is supported by NIFA’s Agriculture and Food Research Initiative.

Helping to lead that transformation are the 75 students in the driver’s seat of the MSU Solar Racing Team, a student-run organization that designs, builds and races solar-powered electric vehicles.
