MSU’s Verboncoeur wins IEEE's Birdsall Award
John Verboncoeur of Michigan State University will receive the 2022 Charles K. Birdsall Award from the Nuclear and Plasma Sciences Society (NPSS) of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE).
He is the seventh recipient of the prestigious international honor. Only one award is presented globally each year.

Engineering Graduate Research Symposium is April 14
The 2022 Engineering Graduate Research Symposium at Michigan State University returns to the Breslin Center on Thursday, April 14. The 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. event is free and open to the public and is the first in-person graduate symposium since 2019, due to the pandemic. The event follows current campus protocols related to the pandemic, and face coverings are not currently required at this symposium.
