MSU to offer $5,000 to $10,000 in EV scholarships

Statewide effort promotes new careers in electric vehicles, mobility

MSU will be joining the Michigan Economic Development Corporation’s new Talent Action Team, a public-private partnership, to recruit electric vehicle and mobility talent to Michigan. A new scholarship program was announced Wednesday, March 1, in a virtual press conference with Michigan Lt. Gov. Garlin Gilchrist II.

Mauro Ettorre’s research interests are in the broad area of applied electromagnetics, RF circuits and antennas for sensors, radars, Satellite communications and next generation wireless networks. His research activity includes the analysis and design of millimeter and sub-millimeter antennas and antennas, periodic and quasi-periodic structures (frequency selective surfaces, metasurfaces, etc.), quasi-optical systems and beam formers, near-field focusing devices and non-diffractive waves.
