To encourage membership in SWE and participation in events, we have implemented a rewards system.
By attending events and participating, members can earn points, which earn rewards! *Must be a National SWE Member to earn prizes*
Here is the point breakdown:
- Attending general meetings = 1 point
- Wearing a SWE shirt to the meeting = an additional 1 point
- Bringing a friend to the meeting = an additional 1 point
- Attending a social event = 1 point
- Volunteering at outreach and community service events = 2 points
- Bring a new friend to a meeting = 1 point
Rewards are given out at the end-of-the-year member dinner in order of most-points accumulated throughout the school year. General members who are not chairs/eboard get first pick at prizes, then chairs. Past prizes have been MSU apparel, gift cards, and coupons for ice cream at the dairy store!
