Dr. Bush and the Society of Women Engineer's Vice President, Megan Wheelock, hosted a night called "Shoppin with the Ladies" on November 14th. This event was held in the Machine Shop, where women were taught by other women how to use the drill press, lathe, mill and band saw. The event was limited to 20 participants so each participant could gain experience with the tools. This was the fifth time this event was hosted. Big thanks to the women instructors: Kelly Patterson, Rachel Kain and Liz Pollack. Thanks to our shop staff as well - Rick, Roy and Mike for their support of the event!
