Approximately 25 elementary children from Hillsdale schools visited the Biomechanical Design Research Lab. During their visit, they learned about the motion capture system and how it has been used in science as well as moving making. They also sat our our pressure mapping system and we talked about different seats and the different pressures that occur on the buttocks. The kids enjoyed seeing "colored maps of their buttocks".
PhD students Amber (Cussen) Vocelle, Josh Drost, and Justin Scott led the tour and showed the students how exciting science can be!
