Undergraduates Emily Kelly and Nathan Kowalski each presented a poster at UURAF on the work they have been doing in Dr. Bush's lab.
Emily's research focused on the movement of the thumb. She compared the range of motion of the thumb of healthy patients to patients with osteoarthritis in their thumb.
Emily received first place in her category for the presentation of her research.
Nathan's research focused on linear actuators that have high load. The goal was to design a system that could control multiple linear actuators simultaneously that is also cost effective.
