Biography

Aljoscha Roch has studied experimental physics at the Technische Universitaet Dresden in Germany. He got his PhD in mechanical engineering 2012 and became group manager at the Fraunhofer Institute for Material and Beam Technology in Dresden. He managed a group focused on Thermoelectrics, and later on a group for printing technologies. He coordinated an European Project including 5 different countries and 13 partners. Now he is working in the field of 3D printing and additive manufacturing. He is developing 3D printing processes for complex and high entropy materials. His group uses FFF printer, dispense printer and aerosol printer. Metals, ceramics and polymers are used and printed in his group.
