Biography
Zhichao Cao’s research interests lie broadly in Internet of Things (IoT) systems, edge computing and mobile computing. He mainly focuses on developing computation and networking systems to enable deep intelligence in various industrial scenarios. In wild oil fields, he develops OilNet, which provides a high-speed and easy-to-deployment mesh back-bone newtork, for various production and security purposes. This fits well with the research scope of Industry 4.0, which is treated as the fourth industry revolution brought by AI and IoT.
