Spring commencement to honor 865 Spartan Engineers
A computer engineering senior will offer the undergraduate address when the Michigan State University College of Engineering hosts undergraduate commencement ceremonies on Sunday, May 8. Graduation exercises for around 775 Engineering undergraduates will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the Breslin Center.

Rohan Singh of Rochester Hills, Michigan, said he is looking forward to addressing his fellow graduates and will speak to them about “letting go of old dreams to make room for new opportunities.”
Singh served as captain of MSU’s Unmanned Systems Team and was a representative on the Engineering Student Council during his MSU years. He is also lead programmer for a group of student Spartan Engineers who devised an innovative idea for NASA -- electric drones that "catch a ride" on public buses to save energy and improve deliveries.
After graduation, Singh will become a software development engineer at Amazon.
Commencement ceremonies for around 32 master’s degree graduates from the College of Engineering are Friday, May 6, at 9 a.m. in the Breslin Center. Almost 60 doctoral graduates from the College of Engineering will be honored Friday, May 6, at 3:30 p.m. in the Breslin Center.
