Christlieb honored by MI Council of Women in Technology Foundation
Sandra Christlieb, whose dedicated support of STEM education in the Michigan State University College of Engineering, has earned her statewide recognition from the Michigan Council of Women in Technology Foundation.
She will be honored May 11 as an outstanding nominee and presented with an honorable mention for working to help make Michigan the #1 state for women and girls in technology.
Christlieb is the assistant director of student success in the Women in Engineering program and assistant director for graduate recruiting and programming.
She said she is very excited to receive the award.
“I was nominated by a current student and am being recognized for the things that I hold most dear – the love and care for students. I aspire to be a caring and strong advocate for students,” she said.
“Supporting students and helping them find their way is why I made the change from industry to academics. They mean the world to me,” she added.
