Videos honor this spring’s 1,000 graduating Spartan Engineers
Congratulations Graduating Spartan Engineers!
You made it! While in-person celebrations are cancelled this spring, the College of Engineering is recognizing the accomplishments of its 1,000 undergraduate, master’s and PhD graduates and are sharing special words and messages at: Virtual Engineering Commencement.
Michigan State University will host virtual commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 16, for all undergraduate and graduate students earning degrees at the end of the 2020 spring semester. The virtual event does not replace an in-person ceremony and members of the class of 2020 will be invited to participate in a future in-person commencement.
When: Beginning at 10 a.m. EDT (7 a.m. PDT) May 16
Who: Members of the 2020 class, friends, family, faculty, staff, alumni and Spartans everywhere are encouraged to watch via computer, tablet or smartphone
College of Engineering Graduation Spring 2020
Amanda Idema, assistant dean for Undergraduate Student Affairs, serves as commencement coordinator. Working with Kylie Kenyon of the Career Center and the leadership in the College of Engineering, the college has posted a Virtual Engineering Commencement tribute.
Idema congratulated the graduates and wished them well on their new journey.
“We recognize your accomplishments and hope you’ll visit our special website,” she said. “Stay safe, be well, and keep in touch! Congratulations!”
