Former professor and chair of computer science and engineering Anthony S. Wojcik dies at 73 

The MSU College of Engineering is remembering former academic leader Anthony S. “Tony” Wojcik, who died April 12 in Okemos. He was 73.

In remembrance of former academic leader Anthony S. "Tony" Wojcik, who died April 12.Wojcik served MSU in a variety of leadership roles from 1986 until his retirement in 2007. Among them, he was a professor and chair of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering from 1986-1995, and then served as associate dean for research and graduate studies in the College of Engineering from 1998 through 2002. 

He also guided MSU in the development of its Cyber Security Initiative from 2002-2005 and was an assistant vice president for research planning in the Office of the Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies at MSU from 2005-2007.
