Our meetings are scheduled for the second Wednesday of each month.
Because of the COVID pandemic, the monthly meetings have switched to a ZOOM format. The group facilitator sends a link to each member of the group the week of the meeting. We catch up and chat from 7:30 to 8:00 and then the discussion begins at 8:00. It is expected that this format will continue for the near future.
Our organizational meeting takes place in October. This year a selection committee created the list of books that we will vote on at this meeting. The meeting concludes by choosing hostesses and discussion leaders. Veteran members are expected to volunteer for these duties; newcomers may wait a year to be sure they are comfortable with the group’s format. A completed list is sent to each member for the upcoming year.
