The MicroTechn Laboratory at Michigan State University is directed by Dr. Wen Li, in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the College of Engineering.
The lab currently has four PhD students, one visiting student, and three undergraduate researchers. Our research interests lie in all aspects of micro / nano sciences and technologies, including micro structures and systems, micro sensors and actuators, biomimetic devices and systems, microfluidics and lab-on-chip systems, MEMS materials, integration and packaging technologies, and other relevant fields.
Specifically, we are developing highly-miniaturized, implantable, hybrid systems for seamless communication with nervous systems. We are also interested in the development of microsensors for real-time monitoring of intraocular pressure.
