
Sanpreet joined the Lahr Research group in the Fall of 2015. He got his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering with special focus on Flexible Pavement Life Cycle Analysis. During his time at the Lahr Lab, he was working on experimental analysis of ammonium recovery from wastewater using Na-bentonite clay and the fate of pathogens in urine based fertilizer reactors. His interests include sustainable urban systems, nutrient management in wastewater and application of clay minerals in wastewater treatment. Outside of research life, Sanpreet enjoys cooking, playing tennis and traveling.
