William J. Cook, Jr. (BS Elec Egr '77) has been selected as general manager for the city of Zeeland (Michigan) Board of Public Works. Cook retired from the Lansing Board of Water and Light in 2008 after almost a quarter century with the utility. For the past two years, he's been working full-time on a contract basis for the city of Owensboro, Kentucky, helping the utility prepare for entry into the wholesale power market.
