Tim Emmitt (BS Mech Egr ’83) is the new president of Belwith Products, a maker of decorative and functional hardware.

Emmitt will work out of Belwith's Grandville headquarters.

The company’s divisions include Keeler, Hickory Hardware, and First Watch Security.

Most recently, Emmitt served as the president of 52nd Street Advisors. Prior to that, he was president at Romeo Rim, a director at Grant Thornton and CEO at Noble International.

Emmitt also spent 15 years working in various financial and leadership positions at Chrysler.

He currently serves as an adjunct professor in the M.B.A. program at Lawrence Technological University.

He received an bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Michigan State University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago.
