Randy Shacka (BS Applied Egr Sci '04) is the new president of Two Men and a Truck International, Inc., a Lansing, Michigan–based company. He is the first non-member of the company's founding family—it was started in 1985 by Brig and Jon Sorber and their mother, Mary Ellen Sheets—to assume the role of president.
Shacka was an AES junior at MSU, fresh off of an internship at Walt Disney World, when he took a summer job with Two Men and a Truck. At the time, he didn't know anything about the moving business or about franchising.
Two Men and a Truck employs about 70 people at its corporate office and aims to reach $250 million in revenue this year.
