Michael Allman (BS CHEM EGR ’82) has been appointed CEO of H2scan. The Valencia, California, company is the fastest-growing provider of hydrogen sensors for industrial markets. H2scan recently completed a state-of-the-art environmental and conditioning laboratory and an expanded production facility.
Allman has experience in developing growth initiatives in the renewable energy sector and forging vital global relationships for Fortune 300 corporations and consulting firms.
Allman worked for Sempra Energy, the Fortune 300 energy holding company based in San Diego, for 17 years, where he was chairman and CEO of the Southern California Gas Company, the largest natural gas distribution company in the United States.
He earned an MBA from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Michigan State University.
