Mary Verstraete

A three-time graduate of MSU Engineering and long-time friend of the college received a top engineering educator honor from the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) in June.

Mary Verstraete (BS ’82, MS ’84, PhD ’88) received a National Outstanding Teaching Award for her skills in hands-on learning and academic advising. 

She is an associate professor of biomedical engineering the University of Akron.
