Laurel C. Kuxhaus (BS EGR MECHANICS '01) has been named a program director at the National Science Foundation.
She will direct NSF’s Biomechanics & Mechanobiology Program within the Division of Civil, Mechanical and Manufacturing Innovation, Directorate for Engineering.
She is an associate professor of mechanical and aeronautical engineering at Clarkson University and previously served as the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Congressional Fellow in Bioengineering.
She graduated from MSU in 2001 with a bachelor's degree in engineering mechanics and as a member of the MSU Honors College.
