Kirk Goins

Kirk Goins (BS Mech Egr ‘86) has joined the Paslin Company, a turnkey systems integrator focused on robotic automation in the automotive market, as chief executive officer. He succeeds Chuck Pasque, who will remain on the board of directors and assist with the leadership transition.

"Kirk has a long track record of developing and implementing comprehensive strategic plans in the automotive industry. His leadership skills and strong operational expertise is another important piece of the puzzle to accelerating Paslin's growth."

Before joining Paslin, Goins was CEO of Comau in North America, a global leader in manufacturing assembly systems that is based in Italy. Prior to his position as North American CEO, he held the position of chief operating officer of Comau's NAFTA Body Welding unit. He also has served in senior executive positions at ABB Inc., including leadership roles in regional management for the robotics group, with responsibilities for body welding, paint automation, powertrain assembly and press automation systems. Earlier in his career, Goins also worked for Allen-Bradley. 

He earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Michigan State University in 1986 and has participated in the executive education program at IMD Business School.
