Kimberly A. (Hill) Smith (BS Mech Egr ’96) was recently named vice president of Environment, Health, and Safety for The Boeing Company. She is responsible for leading Boeing’s ongoing effort to continuously reduce the environmental footprint of its global operations, products, and services. In addition, she leads the company’s workplace safety programs.
Prior to her current assignment, Smith was a director in Boeing Commercial Airplanes’ Supplier Management and served as the company’s program executive to Spirit Aero Systems. She originally joined Boeing in 1997 and has held a number of key positions with the company.
In addition to her bachelor’s degree from MSU, Smith has earned an MBA from Seattle University. She lives in the Seattle area with her husband and two children.
