David J. Anason

Lt. Col. David J. Anason (BS Civ Egr ’91) has retired from the U.S. Air Force after serving honorably for 22 years.

Anason was last serving as chief, Energy Program Development Division with Air Force Civil Engineer Center, Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida.

He was born in Ann Arbor and graduated from Plymouth Salem High School in 1986. He earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering at Michigan State University in 1991.

He was commissioned into the U.S. Air Force and entered active duty in July 1992 at Falcon Air Force Base in Colorado.

His wife, Lt. Col. Stacey L. (Oswald) Anason, also retired in August, after serving honorably for 21 years.
