Brian J. Vokal (BS ’95, MS ’99, Mech Egr),PE, of Midland, Mich., has been promoted to vice president of operations, maintenance, and engineering at Midland Cogeneration Venture (MCV).
Vokal is responsible for the continued safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the MCV facility, as well as directing future expansion opportunities.
Since beginning his employment with MCV in 2000, Vokal has held various positions within the Engineering Department; he has been department manager since 2010. He has been responsible for all of MCV's engineering activities, including the evaluation and analysis of MCV's capital projects and facility enhancements. Prior to joining MCV, he spent six years in the automotive industry as a manufacturing engineer for Detroit Diesel Corporation and Johnson Controls Automotive Systems Group.
