The College of Engineering Recruitment and K-12 Outreach office holds a number of important events each semester for Future Engineers. These events cultivate interest in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) among middle and high school students, through fun and challenging competitions, and introduce talented high school students to MSU and the College of Engineering. These events also offer you a great opportunity to help cultivate the next generation of Spartan Engineers while you network with faculty and staff members, and other volunteers – and meet potential employers.
If you and/or your organization are interested in meeting our prospective students, while supporting MSU and the College of Engineering, please consider volunteering to help at one or more of our recruitment and outreach events. Our volunteers are our most valuable assets. They are our eyes, ears, hands and legs for getting our work accomplished; we couldn’t operate without them! Our volunteers deliver critical services including the following: welcoming participants, guiding students from point A to point B, answering questions, helping with set up and tear down, assisting professors during summer programs, and many other tasks that help our events to run smoothly and be successful.
As a volunteer, your needs will be accommodated and you’ll be well taken care of – we promise that you won’t leave hungry! (Volunteers shirts are also provided.)
Please choose the event or events that you would like to help with from the list below. Be sure to include your contact information, hours available, etc. to get signed up as a volunteer for one or more of our programs for Future Engineers at Michigan State University.
