After first year MSU students start living on campus, they might become interested in things outside of class like clubs and intermural sports. In addition to this, there are many weekly activities offered outside of specific clubs and the classroom that they can partake in with their friends.

As an engineer, it is highly encouraged and popular among students to have internships/co-ops related to their major during their college career. This past summer, I did something different: I moved to the East Coast and worked for L’Oréal in South Brunswick, New Jersey.

Whether it’s to help pay for school or late night snacks, many students have part-time jobs while going to school here at MSU. Most jobs on and off campus are very flexible with student’s schedules, giving them as many or as little hours as they need and working around their classes.
